In her legal management career, she directed the successful implementation of strategies and programs for client retention, firm wide initiatives, practice group marketing and individual attorney marketing plans.
As a former Director of Marketing and Client Services for a leading Southeastern law firm, Brenda was responsible for establishing firm wide marketing standards and branding guidelines, coordinating business development efforts, firm advertising and public relations, practice group support, and internal training in all aspects of marketing and client service. During her years of administrative management, she was actively involved in strategic planning, major office renovations and moves, name and branding changes, personnel management, committee formation and direction, client service reviews, the development of in-house training programs, merger evaluations and the merger of two firms.
Brenda is experienced, savvy. She knows all about legal marketing and almost all (as much as anybody can) about how to work with lawyers. She is a real pro at this work.

Stewart Marketing & Consulting was launched in 2011 after decades of working in various leadership and executive level positions inside law firms. In her role as a consultant, Brenda works with law firms of all sizes and individual lawyers to help them grow their practice through intentional marketing and business development.

Stewart Marketing & Consulting works with firms of all sizes including solo attorneys, small to mid-size firms, and regional firms.
Brenda has presented programs for law firm retreats, Bar associations, and numerous associations across the Southeast. Her signature training program, “LinkedIn or Not,” includes a 30-day challenge. The 30-day challenge is a call to action that provides added value to participants and the firm.
Highly regarded in the legal industry for her knowledge Brenda serves as a non-lawyer member of the South Carolina Commission on Lawyer Conduct, a position which is appointed by the Supreme Court of South Carolina. Other professional affiliations include, associate member of the Legal Marketing Association, Legal Marketing Association Southeast, and American Bar Association.
Brenda is a frequent author and speaker on a wide array of topics relevant to law firms. She serves as a contributing editor for Attorney at Law Magazine® CSRA and Southern District of Georgia.
